Officer, I’d like to report an incident

———

I know the internet isn’t a real place and all, but I was scheduled to play a table top role playing game online today with some people from a Discord server. My profile pic on Discord has been the German antifa flag for the last 7 or 8 years, I don’t even think about it anymore.

One of the guys in the RPG group made this big stink cause he’s a police and he equates antifa with anti cop. I told him I’m just here to play, no politics, blah blah blah. I private messaged him and told him I meant no harm and was happy to meet him and get a chance to talk to someone who is different than me and has a different perspective.

This morning I woke up and they had kicked me from the group. The cop couldn’t live with himself playing with a violent cop killing antifa super soldier because he’s had some rocks thrown at him while doing his job before. He told the DM he would quit so I could play, but the DM said no, Cam is the new guy, you stay and we will kick him.

The cop sent me a long message explaining how he and his friends have been hurt by antifa before and he just can’t play with me. I told him it’s ok no problem whatever, and then tried to tell him my experiences protesting and how long the flag had been my profile pic and everything, but he had already blocked me.

Can you imagine the gall of a police officer, an American police officer, thinking that a few bad apples spoil the bunch?
